My art practice explores the female. I am interested in the representation of women. Inspiration comes from observations in my own life and the lives of the women in my family and society at large.

Gallagher studied fine art sculpture and art teaching in Limerick, Ireland. Since, she has lived and worked in a variety of countries from Ireland to Botswana. Currently living and working in Germany.
